Two wire wheels can share a size and a spoke count and still sit completely differently on the car. The difference is the offset: where the spokes meet the rim.
Standard
Standard offset keeps the spokes centered in the rim, the classic look for most rear-wheel-drive cars. Player builds it in the 100 Spoke Sealed Standard (15″–20″), the 150 Spoke Straight Sealed Standard (20″–22″), the 180 and 204 Spoke RWD wheels (24″) and the 200 Spoke with Floating Cap (26″).
Reverse (deep dish)
Reverse offset sets the spokes deep inside the rim for a wide, polished outer lip: the traditional lowrider stance. Player's reverse wheels are the 72 Spoke Crosslace Reverse (13″–14″) and the 100 Spoke Crosslace Sealed Reverse (13″–15″). See them all on Reverse Wire Wheels.
FWD
FWD wheels are laced for the positive offset of front-wheel-drive cars, so the wheel clears the brakes and suspension. Player makes FWD wheels in 100 spokes (15″–18″) and 150 spokes (20″–22″). See FWD Wire Wheels.
Standard vs reverse vs FWD: which one do I need?
Front-wheel-drive car: start with FWD. Rear-wheel-drive car: standard for a clean look, reverse for the deep-dish lowrider look if your car takes a 13″–15″ wheel. Check your offset range in the Fitment & Plus-Size Guide, or call and we will check it with you.
