Ray Starr Sr. founds Player Wire Wheels
Player quickly becomes a favorite on the lowrider, show car and street car circuits.
- 2008
The first era ends
After Ray Sr. passes away, the original Player Wire Wheels closes its doors.
- 2017
B&R Wholesale Tire & Wheel opens
Ray’s son Todd Starr reopens B&R, distributing custom wheels and tires from brands like Azara, Strada, VCT, Cavallo, XM and TW Wheels.
- 2021
The Player brand returns
Todd reintroduces and trademarks the Player Wheel brand.

Shipping across the country
Player serves the East Coast and Midwest with 1–2 day delivery and ships across the USA and to most countries.
